Founded in 1946, Seoul National University (SNU) is one of the most prestigious institutions in South Korea that offers both graduate and undergraduate programmes. It has three campuses in Gwanak-gu (the main campus), Daehangno and Pyeongchang. This university has 16 colleges, nine professional schools and one graduate school. Admissions Process

SNU offers admissions in both the Fall season as well as the Spring semester. You must have a bachelor’s degree or a recognised degree, equivalent from an accredited university. Besides, you must submit the following documents —  application form, personal statement and study plan, two letters of recommendation, proof of language proficiency, academic transcripts and nationality certificate of applicant and parents.

Fee Details and Funding Options

The Seoul National University fees vary according to the department and major. The tuition fee for international graduate students per semester can range between KRW 3,278,000 (approx USD 2870) and KRW 5,789,000 (approx USD 5070). And if you are having financial issues, there are Seoul National University scholarships for Indian students as well. Some of them include  — Graduate Scholarship for Excellent Foreign Students, Silk Road Scholarship, Korean Government Scholarship Program, etc. 

Placement Opportunities, Counselling Sessions and Workshops

There are numerous career development programmes conducted regularly. This helps students with choosing domestic and overseas employment opportunities. SNU also has a recruitment fair every September to provide job opportunities to its students. Besides, the university provides counselling and mentoring services as well to discuss academic difficulties, career concerns and much more.
